Summer Sunday School
Summer Sunday School for 2009 will continue for six weeks beginning June 7. All adult classes and the high school class are invited to join in the social hall 9:30-10:15 to hear from various speakers on various topics.
June 7: David Sutton will be speaking about John Calvin since Calvin has a special birthday this summer. He will turn 500 years old.
June 14: Cassie Yarborough will be using a movie clip, of interest to all, to spark her discussion.
June 21: Rob McCormick, one of Nazareth’s newer members, will speak on church history. This should be a treat since he is a history professor at the University of South Carolina-Upstate.
June 28: Carroll Caldwell will speak about the struggles and hardships of the pioneers as they pertain to the beginnings of Nazareth Church. He will also have a special time of questions and answers.
